Winemaking: Destemming followed by 12 days on the skins at 25°C. After racking malolactic fermentation is fully carried out in steel tanks and further aging in barriques for 6 months. After bottling further aging in bottle for about one month at controlled temperature.
Origin: Western Sicily
Shelf-life: Wine to drink immediately or to store for up to three/five years
Tasting notes: A deep red wine with violet overtones, fruity and smooth on the palate with warm woody and spicy notes, it pairs well with red meats and dishes with bold flavors. Serve at a temperature of 18°C.
